random tidbits 02.

A few more random things:
  • "Sorry doesn't feed the bulldog." Sorry I haven't written in forever! Things got really crazy all of the sudden, and I've had two papers due in the past week. I'm really relieved to be finished with them. I can finally catch up on a few things. It's smooth sailing from here until break... only two more days of classes! I absolutely cannot believe that we're almost halfway through our semester, class-wise at least.
  • "Did you get your tickets?" "To what?" "The gun show." I've been working out a decent amount since I got my gym membership. It feels good to be active again. I missed the soreness, as weird as that sounds. I've definitely noticed the inevitable increase in my appetite, though. It's been such a blessing to have a healthy meal to come home most nights. The Felix's have been wonderful about that. I guess it doesn't matter how healthy it is if you eat a ton of it, though. It's kind of nice to have skipped out on swimsuit season.
  • "Whoooooooa, sweet child of mine." One thing that I've begun to REALLY miss is the freedom that comes with a car. The freedom of transportation that a car offers is really secondary to the freedom that I'm talking about, though... the freedom to sing your heart out at the top of your lungs and throw in the occasional dance move. That's real freedom, people. I miss that. I listen to headphones for probably close to two hours a day with my commute to and from the city. It is absolute torture to not be able to sing and dance when a particularly good song comes on. Sometimes I have to switch the song just to curb the temptation. The street I live on is a private drive, so needless to say, it's not a high traffic area. I've walked down that street every morning and night that I've left the house and only two times has a car ever driven by. Well, go figure that the one night where I simply can't hold it in any longer, a car drives by. I was helping Guns N Roses out with an air guitar solo when I realized the random light behind me was headlights. I wonder what our neighbors think of me now.
  • I don't have a quote for anything that has to do with teeth. Thank you all for your prayers! My tooth has been feeling much better! My mom sent over some stuff to help me rinse it out, and I barely have any pain anymore. I hardly notice it. Thanks again!
